Dear Members,

Apologies for not having updated my blog for a while. I am still alive and well and travelling through Uzbekistan now.

I will endeavour to put up the last few days as soon as I can get to a decent computer and then you can read about my agonisingly long delay stuck on a ferry in the Caspian Sea, my whistlestop tour of Turkmenistan and it's crazy dictator Turkmenbashi who builds golden statues of himself everywhere, and my first few days in Uzbekistan. It's been a really interesting and busy past few days! For now just one new blog entry I'm afraid - Day 61 - Qobustan, Azerbaijan.

I still can't get photos into the photo gallery which is proving a pain but will try and add them to the blog every so often. If you have any questions or want to know anything about my trip just get in touch. Yes the beard is still there and getting better day by day!
